Bernese Mountain Dog, Grisom being a good boy and posing for a Christmas photo. He learned basic obedience & continues to work on not being so excitable. |
I helped Chris train Amber through the State of New Jersey's Real Life Choices Program. Amber is Chris' home companion dog. Amber is Chris' constant companion and friend. Amber has encouraged Chris to learn and say quite a few new words and has enabled Chris to become quite a good dog trainer using both words and hand signals. |

To the left and above are Cattle Dog-Australian Shepherd mix, Shelby and feline friend. In the past, Shelby had the tough life of a street dog. She learned to drink from drain spouts - and to this day can't resist licking a drain spout. Shelby is one of the lucky ones - she was adopted by an owner who lets Shelby live in the present instead of feeling sorry for her - an owner who understands the importance of training and leadership - and an owner who is working with her veterinarian to try to improve Shelby's health problems, an unfortunate consequence of her life on the street. In turn, Shelby has blossomed into a wonderful companion and just adores her owner and loves her training routines. |
